The Pilates Method of physical conditioning was created by Joseph Pilates in the 1920's. Pilates stretches and strengthens the body by working from the inside out creating longer, leaner muscles. Using a "low-impact" approach, Pilates conditions the body using slow, controlled movements. It engages the body and mind, creating a stress free workout which promotes recovery from strain or injury.
Pilates is for all ages and all body types. Our clients range from athletes and dancers to those who have not exercised in a very long time. We use the Pilates Method to create a system to help rehabilitate and prevent injuries; to strengthen and lengthen the body to ensure a leaner, happier, healthier life.
